The brake lights stay on even when the car is off. I have to disconnect the battery for the lights to turn off. You blokes know what might be the problem.

 

Get some one to stand behind your car.. pull up on your brake pedal and see if the light goes out. If so you may need to replace the brake switch attached to your pedal. If not you may have a bare wire some where still making contact to the power source ..
