I own a stock 06 Evo 9. After car sits for about a hour the dash lights come on! Wipers also dont shut off when. Sometimes the car wont even shut off

 

this sounds like something i've experienced. check this out and it will tell you a lot. on the drivers side in you're car. on the left bottom there's a little kickpanel that starts right after the opening for the door. it is held in my one body clip. just pull that off and take the panel off. then ou should see all your harnesses down there. these are the harnesses that are coming from the engine bay and go through the fender and into your cabin. the grommet on these suckers is crap and leak from the factory and corrode the harnesses.
you should see a white harness holder that holds 6 if i remember right. disconnect the 2 all the way to the right. one of them is black and has 2 wires in it, the other one has a whole bunch and this is a white connector. disconnect these two and check for corrosion.
