tranny swap

Default tranny swap

i have a 98 eclipse rs that is automatic.......i found a 95 eclipse thats a 5 spd.....i was just wondering if they have the same setup b/c if they do i will def. get the 95 and swap them out....im getting the 95 for 1100 b/c the guy is goin in the military and the car only has 70000 on it

if you want it why don't you just drive the one w/ the 5 speed already in it? is it blown? you can swap it but why swap it when you have a perfectly good running car rigth there? if you do swap it for whatever reason you'll need the trani, shifter, shift linkage, clutch, and ECU.

b/c my car only has 55000 mi on it and the 95 has some body damage and some other minor issues thats why i want to keep mine and swap
