Hi,

I just got a 2005 Lancer Ralliart. There are two bolts that holds the railing of the passenger car seat onto the floor. The left one heats up after I drive the car for like say 20 minutes or so.
It comes to a point where its really hot. I spoke to my dealer and he is like this is a normal thing, the bolt goes through the floor and picks up the heat from the exhaust and catalytic converter.

I am not really convinced. This is right next to where someone is going rest their leg and I dont see how mitsu might have missed such a thing??

Any suggestions??
