Default Unusual 3000GT problem

[ul][*]Below normal idle speed (400-800RPM)[*]Below normal oil pressure[*]Engine overheats while on idle[*]Engine doesn't respond as quick as usual when gas pedal is pressed.[*]Engine stall while on idle on the road waiting for a green light (barely happens, unpredictable)[*]Engine doesn't start after 3rd or 4th daily trips especially in hot and humid weather in afternoon/evening/night (Next morning, it will start)[/ul]

Recent repair history includes:[ul][*]New fuel filter [*]New water pump[*]New engine coolant[*]New timing belt[*]New engine oil and oil filter[/ul]

After with all these repairs, the symptoms still persist. I gave a shot to Mitsubhishi dealer in town for my 3kGT to be diagnosed, and what I heard from mechanic is that the Idle Control Module (computer) is reading all the engine information wrong such as idle speed and temperature causing the engine to overheat, stall, and bad fuel economy. As a result, I am force to spend over $1,200, according to the mechanic's estimate, just to repair computer problem.

I need your thoughts/comments/suggestions regarding this issue. Thx

If i read it right then the mechanic is saying you need a new computer...

Instead of getting a new one you can get rebuilt ones for about 300-400 bucks... a lot cheaper and easy to install yourself.
