Default mold in the door lines in a 3g eclipse?

so I'm planning on putting a lot of money into my 2000 eclipse GT this summer and the thought of molding in the lines that run down the side of the doors, virtually erasing them, giving it a sleeker and personal look. I'm sure it can be done with some fiberglass or bondo or something and just painted over (a paint job is in the future too). what's your opinion, good or bad?

I think it would look much better without the lines. personally those lines are really the only thing that I don't like on the 3g eclipse. Do some research though, If i remember right, they are there for a purpose. I think they increase the rigidity of the door to protect the occupants in a "t-bone" crash. If thats the case, its at your own risk. The may make replacement doors too, such as carbon fiber, that may delete those lines, but again, carbon shatters at high speed impact soooooo... haha its up to you brother.
