Default 2002 oz rally not starting

Alright guys I'm gonna revive a very old topic that probably hasn't been discussed in years. I have a 2002 oz rally with 239k on the engine. Bought it in November of 2016 and have had zero mechanical issues with it, these cars truly are great if you keep up with maitenance. So i just had my valve cover gasket replaced along with a an oil change and the fluids topped off because I was planning on driving to Tennessee from Connecticut to see the great eclipse of 2017. 1000 miles there and 1000 miles back for a total drive of 2,000 miles. When I was 300 miles out from my destination I noticed a clicking In the engine which immediately made me think low oil, go figure. I replace the 4 qts of 5w30 and make it to my destination. On my drive back about 30 miles from reaching home my car shuts off on the highways while I'm in the fast lane. No sputtering no loud noises or jerking but I did hear the pistons again like when I was 300 miles away from Nashville. I thought the engine may have seized so today I took the spark plugs out and checked the cylinders for any metal that could've caused the engine to seize, I haven't tried rotating the engine by hand yet ill try that tomorrow, but I noticed the car sounded like it didn't have enough power to start so I'm thinking it could possibly be the starter. Other problems could be a bad fuse or fuel pump, injector, coil, or even spark plug since I didn't get it tested, maybe even a battery who knows. Any suggestions as to where to start? I'm thinking rubber mallet and hitting the starter a couple of times
