Default '99 3000 GT

Twice now I have had problems when my garaged 3000's battery ran down and the stock CD/radio's anti-theft device kicked in and locked me out once the battery was restored. One then has to enter the "secret" security code to bring the system back up. In both instances, I thought I remembered the code (wrong!!)and was permanently locked out after the third try. The dealer says they now have to pull the unit to fix it. The first time I was able to get around this either by disconnecting and reconnecting the battery again or just waiting a few weeks and trying again-not sure which. This time around-no such luck.
If anyone has any suggestions, your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dave Hendricks Gig Harbor, Wa.

All I can say is, be careful and keep the battery charged. My brother keeps all his stuff top notch, even charges the battery often. And if it happens again, just unplug and reconnect the battery. It undoes everything you did. You won't be permenantly locked out, just continue with the code trties. ANTITHEFT, MY @$$!!!!!!
