Alignment adjust bolts seized, suggestions to fix?
Howdy. I have a 2001 Montero XLS and all the adjustment bolts are completely frozen and won't allow me to adjust anything. The tow and camber are way off for rear tires (eating inside edge badly on both rears) and toe is slightly off for the front (slight uneven wear on outside fronts). I took it to a Honda dealer (no Mitz near me) to try adjustment and they too were not able to adjust them with a 4' breaker bar and impact wrench. Took it in for 4-wheel alignment and they tried for an hour but couldn't do it. Their suggestion was to cut them off, maybe even some drilling.
Any suggestions how to break the seized adjustment bolts? I can loosen all of the locking nuts on opposite ends of the bolts, but the bolt themselves that do the tuning are the problem. Weird, because the rust isn't bad on this Montero.
