Default help 6g72 head replacement

I'm replacing the heads on my 04 eclipse gts v6 ive been searching everywhere and cant find a answer.
I was replacing the vc gaskets and i dropped a screw in the intake mani and bent cylinder number 6 valves and dents etc.
im picking up 2 heads tomarrow im looking for reassurance.

how do i know if the heads are in timing right i know the crank needs to be in compression stroke tdc1 but how do i know if the heads are matching or do i just need to have the heads timing marks lined up?
i dont want to put all together again and mess up any more valves

tdc on 1 means the valves over that cyl will be at rest.
If the heads are coming with valve train and pinions fitted, the marks should be true.

Turn it over by hand a few times before hitting the starter. Put rags in holes you dont want to loose screws in.
