Default How To Reset "Service Needed" Light?

I have a 1989 Mitsubishi Montero LS Sport with 6 cylinder 3.0 liter engine that just passed 200,000 miles....the "Service Required" Light has come on. How do you reset the "Service Required" light??? I have serviced the transmission, transfer box, and the complete 3.0 liter engine as fully as possible. I cannot locate the switch in the dashboard to "throw" to reset the "Service Required" light for the next 200,000 miles. I understand that this switch is somewhere behind the dashbord. Does anyone know precisely WHERE this "reset switch" is located? How do you reach it? In the meantime the "Service Required" light stays on continually! Thank you so much. Scooter[/align]

Either clear it with an OBD II scanner, or you could dissconnect the battery for a min and reconnect it. Some Mitsu cars that works with, others it doesn't.
