Default Need help to get started!!!

Just a 1995 eclipse about a month ago with 140,000 MI for $200 with no problems (Got it from my uncle). Now i need some help on what would be the best thing to do, i am faced with doing an engine rebuild or upgrading to an AEM Cold Air Intake, and doing the exhaust. I have the GST model. What is the best route to take?

Have it serviced if it hasnt already been. Timing belt and all that good stuff before you do any kind of mods

Like Nate said, Make sure everything is up 2 spec before modding. It will make everything easier in the end. After that, The amount of money you have will have a lot to do with what your mods are, and of course your hp goal for the car.

Good advice guys.
I would also suggest a full tune up (aside from the belts). It's best to start fresh because you really don't know how that car was treated or driven, no matter if the previous owner was kin. Take your car into the dealership to have the lower control arm checked for the lifetime recall too. If that balljoint were to break, you will lose steering. So, that one is important

..and welcome to MF bud.
