is this normal? (a sound)HELP!!!!!please
hey. my 2000 eclipse gt (5speed) is making a thump noise is the back of the car when i hit little bumps or rool over speed bumps. it sounds like a metal hitting on metal. its not the jack, tire, the plastic thing in the behind the back seat or the cd changer. does any one have any clue what this is?

Either that or he has something loose in the car. My friend had something like you described and when he was stripping his car down after an accident he cound out that there was a wrench in it LOL.
