Okay, so I have a 2001 Mits Montero 3.5 liter/6 cylinder. My engine is making a knocking sound. Don't know wth is going on with it. My pulley seems to be a bit loose. Can my pulley make my engine knock? Second of all, Check engine light is on. Code reads that it's a misfire but I just had my sparkplugs changed right before my engine started knocking and the code went away, so now it's back! Help please, I'm not trying to get ripped off by any mechanics. Any suggestions, or what should I do or what needs to be fixed? Thanks alot for your help!!!

 

check the firing order of your sparkplug wires may be their out of sequence.
