Default Re: Switching motors

I have a 1992 Mitsubishi Galant that started leaking at the top of the valve cover (4G63). It filled with oil and caught on fire as I was driving down the road. Anyway, I found a 1993 that says Oct. 1992 on the door with another (4G63) engine. This one has an automatic transaxle the one I burned has a standard. The earlier one has the distributor on the right side and the later one has the distributor on the left. Everything under the hood looks the same. Does anybody know what kind of problems that I am going to have removing the engine from the newer one and putting it in the one with the standard transaxle?
I would appreciate any advice.

Bill
