Default Switching radio's

Well i have a mitsubishi mirage 1999 and an integra i am looking to put my radio from the integra into my new car since it is aftermarket and i can plug my ipod in and what not. The point is, is it just plug and play? Or do i have to have a new harness if so what do i look for and how do i go about doing this Thanks. And i also have a battery from my 91 integra would it fit if i wanted to put on here because it is brand new. thanks again..

Default RE: Switching radio's

you'll need a new harness. Mitsu's are completely different from your teggy, but honestly the install is a piece of cake. the radio bezel is held on by pressure clips only, so give it a gentle tug and it should come off relativley easily. you can unplug the cigarette lighter or just lay the bezel out to the side. There will be a few screws holding the radio in, just remove and presto, the radio is out. you can either use the factory mounts and do what's called an ISO mount the unit, or you can mount the cage to the radio bezel itself.
