The sunroof in my sons' '98 Eclipse is now leaking. Is the rubber/plastic peice that encircles the sunroof the seal? If not, what seals it? Thanks in advance.

 

All sunroofs have a seal just like any window. Should be able to get a replacement for it and the leak should stop.

 

I understand that Sang, and thanks for the reply. My question is though: Is the rubber piece that encircles the glass the actual seal or is is it underneath? I haven't taken it apart yet so I am not sure what to look for once the sunroof is open. Thanks again.
