supercharger?
hey guys I was thinking about getting a super for my Lancer...I bought it used so the guy already put in a K&N short ram air intake and some sort of exhaust piping...any suggestions or hookups on superchargers? what should I avoid?
Turbo just has more lag but it takes more boost from a super charger to create the same HP from a Turbo. Yes a turbo will require an intercooler cuz think about it, you want thecoldest air to enter the intake and all a turbo does is re-use exhaust gases. You cant just let all that hot air right back into the engine. And you need a BOV to prevent compressor surging on the turbo.

supercharges dont connect threw exhaust and they dont spin the RPMs that a turbo does so they run alot cooler but it is still a good idea to either use some sort of water meth or alky injection if your not going to IC it
