Default Timing CHAIN

does any1 now it there is away to convert the belt to a chain? i have never drove a dsm and when i think of me mashing the gas i afraid ill rip the belt in to peices. i just dont want to ruin my engine i just put so much work in to!

Just change the belt every 60k miles and you will be fine. Driving the car hard doesnt put any extra stress on the belt.

No you cant convert it to a chain : )

Well they are usually submerged in oil so it wouldnt look any different lol.

The new Mivec for the lancer has a chain
