took apart old motor......

Default took apart old motor......

so i pulled of the head from my bad motor and found this.....also i think it was rebulit because the cylinder walls look great for a car with 173,xxx miles on it......can anyone guess what happen here????? can anyone run vin #s??

Looks like a broken timing belt might havecaused that.

your cylinder walls will always be clean as far as i know. But yea the head needs to be rebuilt. I think the bottom end is probably fine

yea well im throwing in a low miles 6 bolt motor toreplace of that...it did have 173,xxx miles on it so i said im getting a new motor

wait, i'm assuming by ur name that you have a gs? then you wont be able to swap in a 6-bolt motor, it's completely different and wont even fit
