Just recently purchased this for my '99 Galant. I had a decent head unit at one point in time, but it died on me and I was forced to find something good within my $140 price range, so this is what I got:

I scoured eBay and similar sites, even Craigslist, before making my purchase and although I found a few decent ones, probably better than what I bought, on eBay I just wasn't comfortable with them (a) being used, and (b) me not being able to return it if I don't like it.

With Walmart, even after installation if I decide I don't like the unit I can still return it. So that's a plus right there.

The unit got mixed reviews, even a few that said it was just awful, but 90% of the reviews are positive in one way or another. People seem to really like the Bluetooth functionality, the touchscreen, and it's DVD playback. It's also fairly powerful, pushing out 320W across 4 channels.


Let me know if this is something you'd buy, or maybe if you already have one or know someone who does, let me know what you think of it. If all goes well, I should be receiving mine tomorrow sometime.
