Looking for advice on a specific issue as the dealers want to run away from this issue under new car warranty. History : 90% of the car's life is sitting at a country highway speed of 110km/hr and I have had the problem since day one of its life. As I approach 110 a clearly audible low Frequency drone/humming emerges and when I breech 120 it disappears. I sit between these speeds all the time as my GPS confirms that 115km/hr is actually 110 in real life. The dealer states that they would need to break the speed limit to identify the problem and have bowed out. In reality the dealer will not address the issue as they would need to get a tech case number from Mitsubishi Australia to get paid for the work.......... I smell a rat
Bottom line is that I have addressed all wind related issues to eliminate this as a cause. I now move to a noisy air intake as the likely cause and while various threads point to air intake as the cause , I would appreciate learning of any other owner who has experienced the same problem so I can obtain clear guidance on how to rectify the problem.
