Default Exhaust Manifold Crack

I took my 2001 Montero Sport LTDto the dealerfor a Check Engine light and they said that both exhaust manifolds are cracked between the 2nd and 3rd cylinders, which is causing the Check Engine light to come on because of O2-sensorissues. Odd that both sides are cracked in the same place. Sounds like a defect. Has anyone had this problem? Any suggestions other that replacing them with OEM manifolds?

Default Mitsubishi Montero 2002 Cracked Exhaust manifold

My SUV's exhaust manifold (both) cracked. There is 2 thing, either you pressure mitsubishi and press this together with reporting this as a failure at NHTSA or just tell your friends not to buy their car. I will do both. Carcking on metal is a metallurgic failure and if you have other people with this problem, then a class action can be done.
