I've been doing much research into buying a catback exhaust system. First of all I row w/ a '97 Eclipse RS...unfortunatley nonturbo...still saving money for a evo engine swap...but anyways u DSM'mers, what is the best or at least most fine exhaust system for the non turbo eclipse? Second of all I want to only spend no more than $300 on an exhaust system? So guys what do u recommennd?

 

why dont you just wait to get an exhaust system when you get the 4g63 engine. you'll need a better one for the turbocharged engine anyway so you might as well wait and not waist your money on one that you'll have to get rid of anyway

 

Seriously.... there is nothing that will give you a decent gain. Maybe like 4hp for intake and exhaust.

Also, you CANT do a 4G63 swap... why would you want to do that when they already have a 4G63 Eclipse anyway? Get a GSX
