I was just curious if this is a bad choice...... I am just looking to change the muffler for now,I want headers and hi-flow cat later.

well for some reason that came up to mirrors for another car. But greddy mufflers ussually arn't too bad of a choice. A muffler isn't really going to vary in performance, more for sound and look.

hahaha, ya, i was expecting to see a muffler and some side mirrors came up. lol
The Engineer is correct, a muffler is usually a muffler unless you want to look at it inch by inch.
If you're looking for deep done get a muffler with a longer outlet. This will cause a chamber for the sound waves to bounce making it deeper. at least that how it was on my old car . I had to keep the silencer in or it would vibrate my heart out of place as well as the rest of the car.

I want something quiet at idle but sounds good but not very very loud at full throttle.I figured I may get this from factory cat and greddy muffler but not to sure.

I believe that would give you a deeper sound and would be pretty quiet. I've got kiiiiinda a similar muffler. it's a little bigger, but it's quite but has its nice deep tone to it. With , please excuse the expression, Rice mufflers you will never really get a throaty tone but a deep tone. Throaty are for the american muscles. Though i have heard wrx's that sound very throaty, but they've got the boxer engines. We've got ricer engines.

But I believe that will give you a nice deep tone. Not my style though. I want to get rid of mine and get an N1 style.
