NOOB TUNER BOV and hardpipe kit screwed up something

Default NOOB TUNER BOV and hardpipe kit screwed up something

got a greddy hard pipe kit with a greddy rs blow off valve for my 95 gsx eclipse once it was on the performance went really bad. its like when we go to get on it it bogs down and shutters at half boosti have looked for leaks re ajusted everything and it doesnt seem to make a differnece.i also have a miss at idle after the car is warm. there is a gasket between the hard pipe and blow off valve, i got everything back on the way it was but tighter........can any one help me figure out what the problem could be i would appreciate it.............................thanks

Are you recirculating the BOV?

Make a boost leak tester (go a little google search) and test it.

funny thing is that i didn't have any leaks with the stock piping, how could i have one now??

well because you took off the stock pipes and for lack of a better word "broke" the seals on everything. You put new pipes on and something isnt tight somewhere. boost leak testers are cheap and easy to make, mine cost me about $10

installation most likely has a leak, or a faulty blow off vavlve. and its leaking boost throught their.

boost leak tester, cheap and will solve your headache

Check up by your throttle body... thats a common place that gets overlooked

a quick way to check is have a friend get in the driver seat and hit the throttle full gun to get some kind of spool... usually just reving can get you 4-6psi... if you hear any leaks.... there you go, if not, go make a boost leak tester
