ok here is the tester please tell us exactly where we have to place it and how much pressure to apply

 

You remove the intake from the turbo (the bit with the filter on the end of it) and where the intake joins the turbo... insert it tightly in there. Apply about 30psi of pressure and see if it holds that pressure

 

do i put in on the side that the air goes into the turbo or do you want it on the pipe that goes out of the turbo?

will 30psi pressure push up on the blow off valve and force it to push air out where it is recirculated and or out into the atmosphere? and we put soapy water around the seal of the BOV and it does froth like air is coming out.............this is so hard to tell where any air is going cuz you can hear it going through the pipes as well so its hard to listen but some is coming out of the part where you can recirulate or let it blow into the atmosphere..........and we werent certain if that is what it is sposed to be doing or should we be concintrating on the pipes for leaks????

ok in the picture you see the hose we are pointing to? that hose goes from thevalve coverto the recirculation hose that the BOV recirculates into......when we put 30psi pressure to the tester we made.............AIR comes out that hose into the recirculation tube that the BOV runs into............is this normal? thats where our air iscoming from thevalve coverbackinto that recirulation hose from . is that supposed to do that, is that where we are losing the boost???? does it make sense to u at all? we found a couple small leaks around the bov gasket and nipple and adjuster screw. very slight but thats it none of the pipes are leaking,,,,,,,,just that hose that comes out of the valve cover into the recirculation hose.
