Hi guys,

I own a 2007 Mitsubishi lancer in Australia. Recently I installed an after market alarm. This alarm has ground outputs to connect to the car's central locking. This is a standard system for car alarms, however, I do not know the negative wire colours that control the central locking in this car. One American website said that the wire colours were light green (unlock) and purple (lock) in the drivers kick panel, but there were many wires of this colour and none of these worked when I connected them to the ground to try and operate the doors. Cars in the USA have left hand drive and I wonder if it is because of that. I e-mailed the dealer but they did not know the wire colours either. Has anyone with a right hand drive lancer 2007 had any luck connecting alarm to central locking?
