My car is a '02 Mitsubishi Lancer ES... Can someone tell me what I need, and a guide to taking out the stock radio/cdplayer?

I suggest using a wire harness to plug into the factory harness instead of cutting the factory harness off. You can get one at any wal-mart, parts store or electronics store. It is also a good idea to get an in dash kit it makes things much easier.
