Convertable top motor not working
This is my 1st post.
My convertable top on my 1996 Mitsu Spyder GST has ceased to function, when I push the button I don't hear the whirr of the motor, but I do hear a faint click coming from what I imagine must be a relay (large box with 3 large wire connectors situated behind the backseat- middle).
Do you think this is the problem and the relay box needs to be replaced?
OR what should my next step be?
Thanks......
Josh

RE: Convertable top motor not working
i would take a look at the wires going to the motor and the motor because the problem is most likely in that area. mine did that once or twice a while back. turns out the ware had a cut in it so it wouldnt work it it hit the rear bars. so a little electric tape will fix that if its your problem. if you can find that derectly hook up a power source to the motor and c if it works.
