my cig lighter in my gsx, seems to work becasue the lighter part actually heats up, BUT i plugged my radar into it, and it blew the damn thing up. like the radar started to smoke like it just burnt out. then i tried to use my car charger for my phone. and i pluged it in, n that blew too. what is the problem?

 

Did you wire it up correctly?..........are you sure, you wired it up correctly?
I'm not saying that you did it wrong, I'm just saying to check and make sure with a multimeter or test light.

 

did you get the positive and negative wrong? lol Something is shorting...

 

have you ever tampered w/ it before?
