I just bought my Daughter an 01 Eclipse. When I got it it read code on radio, called Mitsubishi got the code. Now displays stations everything works but the sound. I have no owners manual, checked fuses but have no idea whitch is wictch. I found the amp but before pulling the seat I thought I would see if anyone has any ideas of something simple i'm overlooking.

 

Chances are if the radio was restricted with the code, there was an aftermarket radio in there before you bought it, in which case the Infinity amplifier under the passenger seat has been bypassed. Depends on the quality of the installation, if the harness was hacked, you're probably better off going aftermarket. If you can simply plug it back in, you should have sound. Also, make sure that the round audio plug is in tact and plugged into both the factory radio and into the amp.
