what sup people
i need help on how to wiring up a 5' tachometer with the shift light
i bought it yesterday and i try to wiring it up, the power and ground and also the light wire is in place .
but the only thing is that tach wire .....i wire it to the coil pack ...it doesnt give me much effect also try it on the injectors which give me no effect ....so is there any more suggestion where i can wire the tach wire to make it work ...help needed ...

 

im not much of an expert but the coil pack seems logical theres the power supply, ground, and reference you would want to hook it up to reference, if you have an eclipse it already has a tach and they sell shift lights seperatly if thats your goal get a service manuel for your vehicle look up wiring diagrams for the location of the reference signal wire

huh ....seriously ......i didnt know about that one hahahaha .....
but hey ...i got the tach working ...is not the coil back. i got it from is a white wire from the ECU ......
