Default adjusting gauges

The previous owner of my car installed glow gauges. the only problem is that when you turn the car on, they dont sit right on the pin, they sit up a little, and when you are moving, they say youre going faster than you are, how much work would it take to fix this and if anyone has a diagram or something to help em out with this, i would greatly appreciate it.
