I HAVE A 97 GST. I WAS DRIVING BACK FROM WORK , WHEN I MADE A STOP AND TRY TO PUT THE CAR ON FIRST GEAR MY CLUTCH PEDAL WAS ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE FLOOR AND CULDN'T PUT IT ON GEAR. IT'S THAT A BAD SIGN OF CRANK WALK.

 

not really. Could be soemthing very simple to do with the clutch or just the pedal. The screw behind the pedal may have just moved so it disengages later. Or just a tranny problem.

 

umm john you know a stuck clutch is a sign of crank walk correct?? It very well could be a sign of crankwalk but t hen again it could be as simple as the pedal getting stuck to the carpet like my red eclipse used to do

 

he didnt say it was stuck, he said he had it to the floor and it still wouldnt go into gear.

I can't tell if he means he depressed the pedal to the floor or that the pedal was already to the floor...

 

in plain english all hes saying is that he couldnt get it into gear. That is if im reading it right
