its just the material thats on the face. Like if you had a kevlar disc, that thing would NEVER burn out. Organic material discs just wont last as long under constant beating. They are good for alot of daily driving and the ocasional race. But for something that is beaten on alot it just wont last as long as a ceramic or kevlar

True that... but in the principle of less surface area = more pressure on the parts that make contact... right? So if you take a full disc... and a 6 puck both made of the same material... the full dusc will last longer. Thats what im sayin.
