Not saying that the 1G7 hasn't walked, I'm saying that it's not advertised to walk like the 2Gs do....and even then, it's not as often. If I read it happening somewhere it wasn't a significant find or issue because 2G CW sticks in my head more that 1G-B CW. Crankwalk is just synonymous with 2G (you can't deny that when you think 2G you think...CW) sadly, everyone has been taught that from some meathead that made an impression on them and it stuck. It happened to me too, but I went against the grain and researched. Even the big sites that define CW even state that it's not a normal accurance. There's been a handful of it from the "bad batch" from Mitsu and everyone wants a 6 bolt just to make sure they don't CW while driving down the street. That's when the rumor mill spun faster and faster..now it's out of control. I'm not saying that the swap is a waste of time. I'm saying that if you are making 400-500WHP on the 7 bolt from a 95-97, be leary, otherwise make sure to tell those guys with the 7 bolts running 11's to do a swap before they have to push their cars home. Bah, I'm done with cw.

The only 7 bolts that I know of (aka confirmed either know them or talked to them on a site) are the 2nd gen 7 bolts. The first gen 7bolts I have herd nothing about them crank walking. But just to be safe most people swap in a 6 bolt. And the people who have walked the 2g were either stock or lightly modded. So stay away from the 2g 7 bolt.
