it could be something small like your last post, but I'd check your ignition system and probably go ahead and replace your plugs and wires. Then coil packs, then perhaps the fuel system. I found a thread on 3si.com that mentions fuel pumps causing this problem (I'm having the same problem with my 93 VR-4, see my thread 93 vr-4 engine sputtering high rpms). It is so frustrating, and I still haven't pinpointed my problem. Let me know if you figure yours out so I can hopefully get mine straightened out. I'll do the same if I find it first. Good luck!
