Default 3000gt trans problems
hi just bought myself a 92 3000gt and it keeps dropping out of overdrive can get 1 2 3 ok ive had all the wiring checked all ok is the overdrive unit outside the gearbox or do i need a new gearbox

You likely have a worn end clutch pack. Luckily- it is accessable from outside of the gearbox. Do a search on www.3si.org and you'll find many writeups on the topic.
