3000GT VR4 BOV advice.
I just bought a TurboXs BOV and am waiting for it to arrive. The model I got is the one that you vent back into the intake. If you do that then how is it different from the stock BOV. It seems like that if just plug the hose that goes back into the intake then it would be alot louder. Of course I am just buying this for the cool sound. I have heard if you vent this into the atmosphere instead of back to the intake that it can cause an over rich condition. Are ther any performance reasons to have an aftermarket BOV? Just though I would get all of you pros advice. Thanks

RE: 3000GT VR4 BOV advice.
The one major aftermarket condition is that is can handle more boost and it won't have any boost leak associated with it. Which most stock bov's have some boost leak. And yes if you vent to atmosphere you will have problems with your car running. If you do a search there have been plenty of threads that discuss this. It will still be plenty loud while being recirculated.

I have a Turbo XS Type H34 and a 3000Gt kit. No instructions. Can I download these or can you just tell me which end of the BOV goes on the Air Intake side and which end goes on the Boost Intake Plenum side. And is this adjustable as to the amount of boost or pressure it will take to make it Blow off. I bought these used so I am not even sure if the BOV is assembled right. Anyone know bout these.
