Hello.

I am new in this forum .. I have a problem with my 1996 3000gt VR4 .. I bought the car 2 weeks ago ...
from this rich guy $2,500... The car is running .. no knocking .. no smoke .. but the problem is there is very bad leak on the oil pan ... so last week i checked the oilpan .. and i found a big hole around size of my thumb ...
So i started take the oil pan off .. and I saw the one rod inside the oil pan .. the rod and piston pin ..the rod iskind of bent a little bit . then i saw the piston and it still in the cylinder its in the bottom .. I saw some damage around the bottom bore it small about 1/8 .. so what i did i pushed the piston to the top .. to check the cylinder wall .. they are all ok no scrathes or damage all the way to the top .... except for this bottom bore ..
I am trying post a pictures .. but it alway say tha too large .. I will try to make it smaller next time....

My question is ..Do i need new used engine .. or this smalldamage around the bottom bore are ok or fixable ..
by the way the car is less than 75k miles ..
