Default 1996 GST - is it worth selling?/can i get anything for it?

Hey guys i'm in need of some help / opinions.

Mainly if its worth selling as it is, and how much i could get for it?
(not a FS:topic)
(sorry that this is my first post guys, not trying to spam, but i really could use the advice of people who know about this car (my long time - honda-tech account wasn't going to cut it)

I have a 1996 GST that i got from a friend and i'm in a bit of a bind and need to sell it ASAP (there's an off chance i might not yet, depending on what you guys say.)
It has 100k on the clock,(Red), 1997-99 stock bumper/kit with stock Wing /blow off valve/ TEIN adjustable kit, exhaust, new Clutch and fork(missing front driver side skirt piece, the smaller part of the 2 pieces by the quarter panel)

The Problem lies in the fact that there is a crack around the frame of the passenger side strut ! (haven't been driving it). To my knowledge it can be welded before it starts to crack more for a mere $100. The TEIN adjustables need to be serviced and sent to TEIN, but definitely not as expensive as buying a whole new adjustable kit. Car also needs a Power steering pump as well as easy maintenance like oil-change / inspection / hard need of anti-freeze flush etc. It does have 5 spoke 17' wheels / tires are good.

Does anyone here think i could sell it for $1000 <-- too low ? Be completely honest. Can i get a little more?
To someone who wants a "project" or "running for/with repairs"

Any help would be much appreciated. I really wish i had the space time and money to repair it

The strut towers are known for rotting out. Your probabaly better off parting out the whole cat and you would make more than 1k.

Default thanks

Thanks for the reply, i wasn't aware that they rotted out, especially for a 96. There's no rust spots anywhere on the car either.

The thing is, the bolt popped off when i hit a pot-hole and the piston dropped underneath the strut tower/frame. That ultimate caused the very small crack to lengthhen. I'm thinking it might have weakened already from the drop with the Teins and this caused it to crack. Unfortunately i dont have the space right now to part it. So i think i'll try to sell it to someone who wants it for a parts car or to repair. I'm thinking the welding might work, but knowing they do rot out is a little scary.
