i have a friend who is selling her car. i want to buy it but dont want to get into it not having any idea of whats wrong with it. her story is that she was just sitting at a red light one day and it just stoped running. no warning at all. just stoped. it has not started sense. this is a non turbo 5 speed 95 3000gt. i realy like mitsu's alot and have always liked this car and dont want to see it go to waste. if yall have any thoughts or ideas please let me no. thanks!!

 

Does the car turn over at all? Check battery connections, starter, alternator. You have a really vague question here, please provide some more details so others can help you out.

 

yes the car turns over. but will not start. im sorry i do not have very many details about what happend or what its doing. i looked at the car for maybe 15 min. tryed to start it a couple of times and it would turn over but never start. i did check bat conections and plug wires and they were alll fine.

 

I'm betting the timing belt snapped.
