Automtic to manual trans swap
Hi am new to this forum and had a question. I own a 94' 3000gt SL with an automatic transmission. I was wondering how hard it would be to swap to a manual and if anyone could give me any info on doing it. Also if were the best place would be to find a 6 speed manual. Thanks!

Not trying to be a dick, its just that this question gets asked a couple times a week. Surely you can understand that it gets a little old.

RE: Automtic to manual trans swap
This subject does come up quite often...
here's a quicklist of what you'll need...
FWD manual tranny
Clutch pedal assembly
Brake pedal
Clutch master cylinder
Hydralic line from clutch cylinder to slave cylinder.
:I've heard there are different shafts among different year tranny configurations, but I'm not sure which ones are the odd ball, so you might need different halfshafts/CV joints.
I'm sure there are a couple odd/end items I've over looked, but it is pretty much a bolt in affair.
6-speeds were only available in VR4's. Stick with the stock FWD 5 speed.
