California emissions
I have a 92 Dodge Stealth ES and recently failed the new California Emissions test which is run at both 15 and 25 mpg. I failed both the
Hydrocarbons and the Nitrogen Oxide tests (worse at the 15mph speed). I'm way high on NOx. The CO levels are OK.
The dealer is trying to sell me a new intake manifold, and if that doesn't work a new catalytic converter. I can understand the converter,
but not the intake manifold.
I really don't want to spend $1500 if I don't have to. Any suggestions?
