Checklist for buying a 3000GT !
hello everyone ..
I was looking forward to buy a 1995 Mit. 3000GT (base) with 160xxx miles for 4500$ and when I test-drove it, it seems pretty strong. The car is adult-owned and mostly highway driven.
Recent Service:
1. New timing belt/water pump (all rollers and tensioner replaced), new accessory belts and cooling system flush.
2. New Clutch. New transmission fluid. New clutch slave/master cylinders. All seals replaced.
3. All new brakes around. Brake fluid flush.
4. New battery
Car runs well and needs nothing.
Can you suggest me if this is a Fair deal ?
Also, what all should I do after buying the Car for Maintenance Check ( Ex. Flushing out the radiator, having the t-belt tensioner inspected by a Mechanic, etc.) ? I would be grateful if you can give me some nice tips on how should I proceed on with buying this Car.
Thanks and Regards,
Jimmy.

It' hard to say really. If you trust that all the preventive maintenance work has been done, $4500 is not too far out of line. I personally wouldn't give that much for it, but I'm biased...
