I have a 91 3000gt vr4. when i bought the car the ECU was bad. i sent it in to get fixed but i would like to know what could of caused the ECU to go bad. I dont want to plug it in and have the same problem and mistake happen again. if anyone has any info please leave me a comment

 

These ECU's are known for failing a capacitor that gets old and fails the board. If yours was fixed, the problem will not likely repeat. You will see "capacitor kits" on ebay for $10, this is what they are for.
