Default Electrical Problems- wont start.

My 3.0 liter dohc non-turbo Mitsibushi3000 gt wont start!

it has a 3 coil pack, a center one produces sparks, the outer two do not.I switched positions, the inner with the outer, its the still the same, the inner one works but the outer two do not, so the coil packs are good.... repaced ignition module, no help. i am thinking of replacing the cam shaft position senser. Does any one know how to test the sensers or tell me what is wrong with the son-of-a-gun???

Hey I had a similar problem with my 1992 VR4. It ended up being a wiring problem. I had to trace it bad to the ECU.You might want to check if there is a opening coming from the wiring harness, or bad connectors, maybe a bad cam angle sensor (distrubutor cap).

Hope that helps.

There are a few questions that need to be asked to make any suggestions..

Was the car running well prior to the issue? In other words was it running fine, you parked it,and the next morning it wouldnt start...

Next, is the MIL on(Check engine light)

Lastly, was there anything done between the time it was running well, and the present issue?
