Default help with mods?

looking to buy a 3000gt
after long discussion with parents (17 years old lol not some 40 year old dude :P), i cant get a vr-4 because of insurance...even tho a 3kgt will be expensive anyway...whatever

anyway
looking to get about 300-350 hp out of a 95 3000gt sl 5 speed, anyone have some mods i should do, since the n/a motor is not turbo-friendly?

was hoping intake, exhaust, headers, intake mani, and ecu upgrade (if possible) would do the job?
also a short throw shifter to reduce shifting time

thanks alot

dont do anything keep it stock man these cars are nice as hell why waste money which can make you waste more on gas, labor, tech work,etc... also short throw shifters are horrid (opinion) not for new drivers...But if you do really want to waste money Crower cams, valves,,springs. Or skunk2 but I like Brian Crowers personally.A PNP would be nice too.

It is hard to find parts for the 3000 gt. I was going to buy one but the guy who is selling the car had a hard time looking for parts.

I would start with a Honda 1995 and up or a Nissan. The parts are easier to find and easy to install.

I would start with a cat back exhaust,SRI or CAI as a starter tuner. That's how I started tuning and LISTENING TO ADVISE from other tuners or Technicians. You only install Hardcore parts if you are really serious in killing yourself, going to jail or killing a bunch of family in a Van.

remember street racing is a Federal Offense. The State and Federal can sue you for Vehicular homocide

It is a fatherly advise don't get offended and goodluck
