Hey guys whats up I have a 94 3000gt sl and I was gonna put the hoop spoiler on it instead of the stock spoiler. Is there any write up on this install, I know its a pretty basic procedure, but I didnt know if you had to do something special. I got confused on the sides. I know some holes on trunk will need to be filled, but do you guys think if I just use 3m double sided tape on the sides do u guys think that will hold instead of drilling into my quarter panels?[/align]

 

hmmm, glue does not sound like a good idea.... not at all.

I think the sides are held on with double side tape. Will you have to drill new holes? I'm pretty sure it uses the same holes. On Stealths, the holes are even marked, just not punched on our decklids.

I think they are. A buddy of mine recently pulled a hoop spoiler from a parts car and he told me the side pieces were held on with 2 sided tape.

 

Must be some pretty damn good tape. I'd probably drill holes and find some way to secure it.
